Ahmed’s Story

When Ahmed (name changed) joined the Community Wellbeing Pathfinder service, he was struggling with his mental health and confidence.

He wanted to feel better about himself, develop a healthier daily routine and find opportunities to become more involved in his community.

What Healthworks did:

Ahmed received personalised support to help him improve his wellbeing, build confidence and take positive steps towards his goals.

With encouragement and guidance, he started volunteering with FoodCycle twice a week, completed a Mental Health Awareness course and developed healthier daily routines.

Community Wellbeing Pathfinder Outcomes:

Ahmed became more confident, established a positive routine and developed a more optimistic outlook on his future.

His wellbeing score improved from 16 to 25, reflecting the progress he made during the programme.

“I am now more confident, have established a new healthy routine, and have a more positive outlook. I feel more confident in myself and believe I can achieve more than I ever thought possible.”
