Previously, Paul has developed and led Sure Start Services, been a researcher influencing national policy, an NHS board member, and a long-serving Grant Committee member for BBC Children in Need.
Paul currently serves as a volunteer Director for Swim England North East and is a Visiting Fellow at Northumbria University.
‘I am immensely proud of the dedicated and passionate team at Healthworks who continue to drive the organisation’s mission forward, delivering impactful services and making a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities. I deeply value the strong, collaborative relationships built over the years with our partners across the region — including the NHS, universities, and local authorities — recognising that these trusted partnerships are vital in addressing health inequalities and achieving lasting, positive change’.
