We are taking on the Great North Run 2026 to raise money for Useful Vision!

Useful Vision is a life-changing project supporting blind and visually impaired children across the North East. It became part of the Healthworks family in early 2025, and we’re proud to continue its incredible work.

Through fun-filled activity days, learning experiences, and skill-building sessions, Useful Vision helps visually impaired children grow in confidence, make friends, and enjoy new opportunities they might not otherwise have.  But we need your support to do even more!

Every step will help fund vital, inclusive, accessible and fun activities for visually impaired children and their families.

About Useful Vision

Useful Vision works with visually impaired children and their families to give them the support they need to flourish.  The service provides accessible, positive opportunities and activities to visually impaired children and their families throughout the North East region.

Enabling children to learn new skills and make new friends – reducing social isolation through increased confidence and self-esteem.
