What Healthworks Health Checks include:

Each appointment includes BMI, blood pressure, waist measurement, full cholesterol breakdown (HDL, LDL, ratio), and lifestyle assessments covering smoking, alcohol, physical activity, and risk scores for diabetes (QDiabetes®) and heart disease (QRISK®3). Employees receive a personalised health report, lifestyle advice, and referrals to local services.

  • Smoking Status
  • Alcohol Consumption assessment (AUDIT-C)
  • Physical Activity Level assessment (GPPAQ)
  • QDiabetes® Diabetes Risk Calculation – calculates the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes over the next ten years
  • QRISK®3 Risk Calculation – calculates the risk of developing a heart attack or stroke over the next ten years

 

Additional benefits for individuals:

All clients will receive personalised health advice to improve their health and wellbeing, including an in-depth breakdown of what the results mean. They will also receive a Personal Health Report, access to our Free Healthy Lifestyle Resource Kit, and referrals to local community services such as smoking cessation and leisure activities.

We’re pleased to offer a 25% discount to members of the North East Chamber of Commerce.

Discounted rates (excluding VAT):

  • £37.50 for services in:
    Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, and Durham (within designated postcodes)
  • £48.75 for services in:
    Durham or Northumberland (outside designated postcodes), Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, and Stockton

Appointment Times: Start around 9:30 am and finish between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm – however we are flexible!
