Meet Baa-bara, the newest member of the team!

Healthworks is delighted to be part of the Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne’s Learning Programme in 2023 and we can’t wait to bring colour and excitement to the streets of Newacastle with our very own sheep!

Following the success of Great North Snowdogs in 2016 and Elmer’s Great North Parade in 2019, Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne is set to follow in the footsteps of his two famous friends, for a summer of fun.

Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne is an opportunity to get young people from across the region enthusiasticabout art and design, as well as out and about, discovering new places to visit.

We were delighted to welcome our newest addition to team Healthworks this week – the team held a naming competition for our sheep and she is now officially called Baa-bara.

Once Baa-bara has been decorated by local children, she will be taking up position on the Shaun the Sheep trail in Newcastle where you can see her and the rest of the flock.

Watch this space to follow Baa-bara’s journey, and you can even meet her if you pop into The Lemington Centre over the next few weeks.
