Local people are invited to help shape an economic plan for Newcastle

Local people are being invited to take part in a project being conducted by the Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) to develop a local inclusive economic plan.

If you are from the Lemington or North Jesmond area and would like to ensure that local people are part of the development of an economic plan for Newcastle, then we’d love to hear from you!

Newcastle City Council have asked the Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) to develop an economic plan around how to keep money more local and invest in local neighbourhoods. Lemington and North Jesmond have been selected as two of five wards to be involved. Participants will ensure that local people’s voices are a part of this plan.

They are looking for two participants to be involved in this research project who are from the North Jesmond or Lemington areas to get their views about how they would like to see Newcastle’s economy develop and what an inclusive economy looks like.
