Jake and Rory Take on an Ultra Marathon for Healthworks
We are incredibly proud to support two of our Health Improvement team members, Jake and Rory, as they take on an extraordinary challenge to raise vital funds for our charity.
On 7 June, they’ll be running an ultra marathon – 50 kilometres of determination, endurance, and commitment to making a difference!
Jake’s Story
“I’m thrilled to share that on June 7th, I’ll be running the Lakeside Ultra Marathon (50km) to raise funds for Healthworks. As an organisation, we work tirelessly to support individuals and families facing health challenges, low income, and unemployment, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to lead a healthier life.
By donating, you’ll be helping Healthworks provide essential services and programmes that truly make a difference in our community. Together, we can tackle health inequalities and improve the quality of life for all. Every contribution, big or small, helps create a lasting impact.” – Jake
Rory’s Story
“Hi, I’m Rory, and I’m excited to announce that I’ll be running my first ever ultra marathon—the 1st 1/2 CHALLENGE—a 50 KM race from Kendal to Lakeside on June 7th. This is a massive personal challenge, but one that I’m taking on to support Healthworks, an incredible organisation dedicated to improving community health and wellbeing.
By supporting my campaign, you’ll be helping Healthworks provide essential resources and support to those in need across the northeast. Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to our mission of achieving equitable health for all. Thank you for your support!” – Rory
Jake and Rory are taking on this ultra marathon for the many people who benefit from the range of services we offer.
By donating, you’ll be playing a crucial role in making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.
Let’s rally behind Jake and Rory as they push their limits for a cause that truly matters. Every step they take on this 50km journey brings us closer to reducing health inequalities and ensuring a better future for all.
