That is a shocking statistic, and shows why our cancer awareness work is so important. To help us get key cancer awareness messages out there, we have been working on an online awareness session that can be accessed for free by anyone, and hopefully, by everyone!
Today we are delighted to share with you our new Cancer Conversations online awareness course, which you and your networks can access for free right now.
This session is designed to:
– increase your awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors associated with many common cancers
– raise awareness of the importance of screening for breast, bowel and cervical cancer
– give you information about self-checking your body, and what to do if you find something that’s not normal for you
– help equip you to have meaningful cancer conversations with others
The session will take around an hour to complete, and the information you receive and share really could make a difference! The session does not need to be completed in one go, and as it is online you can access the course at any time that suits you. You can even access it on your smart phone!
