Welcome to Healthworks Best Start Pregnancy Support.

We offer extra support during pregnancy for families who may need it.

If you’ve received a text from our team, it’s because your midwife, health visitor or another professional has passed on your details to us for some additional support during your pregnancy.

What Pregnancy Support We Offer in Newcastle

Personalised pregnancy support to help you have a healthy and positive experience. Everyone’s needs are different, so our support is tailored to you.

If you join our pregnancy support programme, you’ll be matched with a trained volunteer or staff member who will stay in regular contact with you throughout your pregnancy.

We provide practical and emotional support at every stage.

Our team can help you:

  • Create a birth plan
  • Prepare for your baby
  • Learn relaxation techniques
  • Get advice on diet and exercise
  • Find local support groups
  • Attend appointments with you
  • Access other services and support
  • Learn about infant feeding, baby care, development and bonding
